Goan Carnival on February 4

DUBAI — In keeping with the festive spirit of Carnival, which is celebrated with pomp and pageantry in the Indian state of Goa, a Red and Black Carnival Ball will be held on February 4 at the Le Meridien Great Ball Room, Dubai Airport Road. The organisers, Sunset Events, have lined up an array of events for the day which includes the Carnival Parade with King Momo, a jive competition, most romantic couple, fancy dress competition and many more. The ticket price is Dh125 per person.

The dress code for the day will strictly be red and black. Goa’s very own Carnival kings L’ace and Dubai’s No.1 dance band Black Lace will provide foot-tapping music for the evening while DJ Tito will provide recorded music so that the dance floor is always occupied.
