Subject: [Goanet] Too late Mr.Rane

Its too late Mr.Rane but anyways your statement is most welcome....What about the Israeli project mention below...who's getting the kick-backs?????????????

Six-time chief minister and present Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker Pratapsing Rane on Monday jovially said it was time to hang the boots and give chance to new faces, thus indicating it was time to retire from politics. Rane was speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the State’s first super-specialty hospital to be built in collaboration with Israel-based Elbit India Healthcare Pvt Ltd. The Speaker, who appeared in upbeat mood, referring smilingly to the master of ceremony’s repeated reference to him as six-time chief minister of Goa, indicated it was high time he retired. “I think it is time to hang up my boots and give chance to new faces,” he stated categorically. Referring to the PPP model adopted to build the State’s first super-specialty project in the health sector, Rane said similar such ventures were required in the educational field as well. Speaking in the presence of some of the dignitaries from Elbit, he said, “The Israeli tourists are already here. Now we have the experts as well and both are most welcome.”
