Hello All. I'm Jessica de Souza, I'm 13 years old. I have some pictures of the snow in England which I took myself. The snow carried on for about two weeks. It was so bad schools were closed because the buses had stopped running! My sister, brothers and myself had much fun in the snow. It was 7/9cm deep! First it snowed on the 21st December 2009. Then when we thought the snow would thaw out, it snowed again on the 6th January 2010. For about 2 weeks, the snow didn't melt and it continuously kept on snowing. But finally it thawed out by the 21st. Now it is raining and the temperature is well above freezing. There is no sign of further snow. The roads have been treated with salt and they are currently free from ice. I recently was in Goa for Christmas with my dad and I enjoyed it very much! >From Jessica.
