Today, I was almost lost in Margao, standing in front of the buildings and starring at it for hours. One of the everlasting memories would be ‘Cine Lata’ We took the train from Marjorda, always boarded in the last compartment Once the train reaches Margao station, we run backward via the tracks which were leading to Cine Lata and the show was at 2.45pm We often bought tickets in black (market) ‘ek ka do’ and ‘do ka tin’ Meaning Rs.1.30 for 2 and Rs.1.80 for Rs.3 Besides, we also watched at Cine Vishant, Cine Metropole, Then the newest was Blue Pearl behind Grace Church. Now there are only two Vishant (Talkie Town) and Cine Lata (Zantye’s?)
