I understand private care is no better either, given that last week my dying
uncle was left in a dirty state all night. He was totally blind, and his feeble
calls for help were not attended to, until my sister took over the situation
next morning. He was then moved him from Manipal Hospital to CMM at Altinho.

Dr. Alvaro da Costa, ex-Bombay dentist who spent his last 20 years in
Campal, passed away on Thursday morning. Funeral leaves his Loutolim
residence (next to Bigfoot) Sunday 11:30am. May his soul rest in peace.
