Exactly what I wanted to say..
A lot has been written on this CD in print as well as the internet, by some
who have not even heard the song
or all the songs on this CD. Of the 3 songs on the priest only one song with
lyrics was doing the rounds on the net....
but what about the other songs?.
There are atleast 5 songs sung on the politician by various singers,...of
these 5 one of the
song sung by Osvi Viegas...'Kallzacho Ullhas' ..which says a lot of the
broken friendship
between the politician and the panch..In trying to expose the politician n
the priest,
the panch has also exposed himself...am just highlighting only a few words
of the panch...
In one of the verse he says(rough translation) that the politician didnt
have money
to fight the elections and with empty pockets he taught him to fire from an
empty gun...
a black crow that he was..was presented as a white dove infront of the
people
with the help of the local leaders.
So what went wrong now? did the panch get the support of the virodhi
politician?
who was the biggest Bodmass here and who mislead the people
...the politician...the panch or the priest?
As far as the songs on the priest are concerned...this is nothing new..
in the past tiatrist have sung songs against the priests in tiatrs and on
cassettes.
so why only this time it was made a big issue in Colva?
