OK. Now the man has graduated to making wild accusations of corruption against 
reputed governmental scientific organizations just to support his own ideology. 
Does he also believe that the moon landing was a hoax?

Please note that he does not accuse the newspaper political columnists of 
fabricating or distorting quotes from staffers. Perhaps, political journalists 
are more ethical than scientists. They are not interested in selling newspapers 
by manufacturing controversies and sensationalizing news.

BTW, the data provided by NASA's Goddard Center is obtained from the Global 
Historical Climatology Network which is a database maintained since 1880 by a 
consortium of independent universities and climate data centers. And regarding 
government funding, NASA itself is the government funding agency run under the 
oversight of the U.S. Congress.

How do newspapers get their funding for the stories they publish?
