Cajetan Godinho Honoured by United Goans Centre-Kuwait

Shuwaikh, Kuwait, Friday, 19 Feb 2010:

It was exactly 30 years that Cajetan Godinho (fondly called as Caje) hailing from Majorda, Goa played in the first-ever football tournament held by United Goan Centre (UGC) in Kuwait. The year was 1979, doning the colours for the then formidable Goan Sporting Team and winning the finals at the famous Soor Grounds, Kuwait City.

Cajetan Godinho holds a unique record for being the only player among Expatriate Indians not to have received a warning/caution (yellow card) throughout his carrier that has spanned three (3) decades now. A rare attribute for the skillful footballer.
