Some of our youngsters in Goa have gained good openings by sharing
information about what's available. Sometimes, it's possible to take
on jobs at some distance away too. I'm always grateful to one of the
early Goanetter James Almeida and Eddie Fernandes, for pointing to a
freelancing slot which helped to cross-subsidise quite a bit of my
not-for-profit work that I enjoy doing. FN
