Dear Gabe,

May I suggest that you are being a wee bit unfair to 'us' i.e. non-UK
Goans - who may not have background information about this 'contratu'
among UK Goans, but who have to try read what is being sent acress the
internet?

In short:

1: what (in brief) are the issues behind this sorry saga?
2: does it also involve land?
3: what is behind this apparent personal animosity?
4: is the AGM not different from the Board of Directors?

4: As Jawaharlal Nehru once said: Ye goa ke lokh bohoth ageeb hai!
(while can be translated in different ways .....It most likely was
meant to convey the impression that "Goans were a weird set of people"
...and that "They were only good to be ABCs - Ayahs, Butlers and
Cooks".

Nehru probably had a Lucknowi 'darzi' ....and did not know about Goan
'tailors" or about the "Caste" discrimination among Goan Catholics.
