If what is reported in oHeraldo dated Friday, March 5, 2010 (eEdition) is correct than it implies that Senior Town Planner Mr. S. T. Puttaraju of South Goa deals cases of land filling in two different ways i.e. when such things are connected with common men he prefers to register FIR with concerned police station without even verifying and without serving the notice. But when the case is concerned with a minister he prefers not to jump to conclusion and to get the facts verified and also prefers to serve a notice period of 7 days! I wonder if such things are connected with the chief minister how would he act.
In any case, Mr. S. T. Puttaraju appears to have forgotten the provisions built up in Article 14 of Constitution of India. This article i.e. article 14 guarantees to every person "equality before the law" and "the equal protection of laws". Best regards, Dr. U. G. Barad
