Hi Carmen, I agree with you that very little has been done about the loot of Goa's Forests, Mines and other resources. It is a pity that having such learned people in the community, we cannot find any people who can challenge these robbers who are looting everything valuable under our very noses. I think that we are too meek and humble and may be asleep. We must wake up and smell the coffee and be assertive before they take away everything including our khashtis. Movements must be assertive to rid ourselves of corrupt politicians, officials and local leaders who do not care about anything but enriching themselves at the expense of everyone in Goa.This can only be achieved by re organization at the Grass Roots Level and educating our people about the ills of corruption and ensuring that current corrupt leaders are ousted from office and honest trustworthy people are elected.
