Yet another nail in the coffin of 'Amchi Mai'. The scoundrels have won. The RP2021 is to be finalised in 6 months with the same planning laws in place and if it happens then I think Digambar should not be blamed in the future. Extra smart Goans have asked for it and he should be more than happy to give it on a platter. Dr. Nandkumar and several others have been rightly propagating for only Land Utilisation Plans which would suffice. But Goans have not yet learnt their lessons and continue to be ever so obliging to the local real estate and mining mafia. With U.P-ite, Delhi-ites, Kannadigas (agent for the national players in real estate ) continuing to be in total control over the land and future of Goa and added to it Sec. 16 & 16A in place, one can well imagine the fate. But as usual playing with the future and duping ignorant and unsuspecting people has today become a full time sustainable employment for many. Driving Goa even further to the brink of destruction will now be sold as an achievement of people's power. What has happened to the anti-16 & 16 A campaign? What has happened to the District Development Plans as now required under the Constitution? What has happened to the recent claims that the TCP Act must be scrapped and a new one put in place? When the intelligensia become agents of the establishment nothing much can be done. Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing! It is another Good Friday for Goans!
