The Gaon Ghor Rakhonn Manch has rightly called the bluff on the RP 2021 process. The hue and cry to hastily push through pressure from some quarters appears more of a sinister design by agents of the real estate lobby. With contradicting laws in place and multiple authorities handling 'land use' at various stages, the RP 2021 remains nothing but a Real estate Plan. Any planning process which does not respect the 73rd and 74th Constitution Amendment is a violation of people's rights to particpatory planning. With mischeivous provisions like section 16 and 16A in place along with common land development and building rules put in place post-RP2011, the claims of the CM is nothing but a fraud on the people of Goa. Now we have the latest conglomerate of real estate and tourism which has been floated claiming to give ADHAR to Goans. A lot of Adhar even from migrants but no FUDDAR for Goans.
