Saldanha has written the following to the Home Minister.

>Based on the findings of the study
report, Justice Saldanha said the state government was ‘luring the media
with cash’ to divert attention from such incidents. The government was also
issuing advertisements as it pleased just to keep everything under check, in
>turn incurring crores of rupees of losses to the state ex-chequer.”

Santosh writes :
>I tried to check whether any of the facts were actually reported by mainstream
>Indian national news media online, such as Times of India, NDTV, etc. But I
>could not find a single such independently filed report.

Reports of attacks on churches have been widely reported by all
kinds of media. In the above, Saldanha has mentioned that media
is being lured by money.

While not making any accusations towards main stream media, however,
I feel that the above point made by Saldanha should also be
taken into account / investigated.
