History says that Afonso da Albuquerque built a church (chapel) on his
final victory over Adil Shah on the day of the Feast of St. Catherine.
Is this the same church or the original structure is elsewhere? What
about the church structure opp. to Se Cathedral, accross the ferry
crossing (?).
Also, on the floor of the Se Cathedral there are several slabs with
script. What are these and is record of translation available with
ASI? Does this Cathedral have a basement? What is the legend of the
growing cross? How old is the 'baptismal?'
Thanks
MD.
