PLEASE do not misunderstand what I am asking. Please, no verbal gymnastics or analysis. Yes, or no will do. 1. Was this petition only an electronic or was there also a paper version that people could sign? 2. Was this petition sent to places where people congregate, say places of worship; taken door-to-door in villages; colleges, cultural groups, etc.
I am only asking this since it is disappointing that it has taken this long to get a 1,000 signatures. This is for my own comprehension, and conveys a sense of process. Also, this is not to blame the originator/s of the Petition. So if anyone sent it out say to individuals who lead groups, or one stood in the market with a poster -- share that. Of course, sharing and requesting others would I think achieve more signatures; not necessarily true as I am aware. Besides, short of a multi-pronged approach, it ends up being the usual bleeding hearts, to include self and a handful of friends who sign. But all are talking about nature, spirituality, this that -- basically a gag-fest. (Now look what I have done). ++++++++++++++++++++ BTW, why do I write like this. Its not being defensive -- if one understands what good defense is. I do so, simply 'cause it is more than obvious that there exists a tendency in us beings, to jump down people throats, to respond with "xanneaponn." Perhaps in such beings, diving down throats is one way towards a search for personal truths. venantius j pinto
