Only Gomantak Times seemed to have reported about the arrival of the Vasco lad Shadab Jakati in Goa after the IPL. As reported there was no one to recieve him at the airport except the media persons and his mother and family. The politicians on the Cricket Associations seem only interested in furthering their own interests. Had it been Swapnil Asnodkar there would have been beating of drums and all sorts of glorification of his achievements. But minorities are not Goans and even not Indians. Very sad reflection about the state of affairs in Goa.
