Just to strengthen his backsides affinity to the CM's chair, he has allowed one and all to have a go at Goa from all sides. The CM has been the main cause to the suffering of Goa and Goans today. It is he and his forty thieves that have allowed the miners and the builders to lay siege to Goa, our beautiful coast has been overwhelmed by massive, gigantic concrete structures thus multiplying the woes of coastal Goans manifold, our low lying fields have disappeared, hill have somehow lost their mass and shape, forests have been leveled and huge open craters have appeared from nowhere, thus, wells, springs, ponds and other water bodies have lost their source of water and have gone dry, there is never water around sufficient enough to fulfill our genuine needs. Electricity needs, have never been fulfilled, come dusk, tubes don't light up and bulbs get dimmer and to add to the chaos it does the "Hudini" act more often than not. Water and electricity are the major problems for Goa and Goans today. All the infrastructure is vastly insufficient and outdated and although Goans all over Goa have been showing their displeasure, our esteemed CM and his stooges don't seem to get any wiser. Mr. Kakodkar has rightly said that public money has to be judiciously spent, we Goans do not need the Sea Link, we do not need another airport, we do not need seven bridges on one bridal river, and we most certainly do not need a cricket ground, especially when Goa and Goans are faced with more pressing, urgent and demanding needs of water, electricity, good roads and good health care. Only once our infrastructure is in place and Goa and Goans can afford the luxury, then only should we think of other major project, and that too only after a deep study on the effects, viability and feasibility is made. Like Floriano Lobo said we do need more men like Mr. Kakodkar to lay bare the misplaced fallacies of our corrupt MLA's and Ministers.
