Thank you for your call much after mightnight when I was preparing for a
day's good sleep, skeptical about the goodnees of that sleep due to the
roasting hot weather here in Goa. And I am happy to say that I slept better
than a baby does, thanks for your kind words all the way from Hoboken, New

As I have promissed you, I am opening up a channel so that you may unload
your mind about Goa and Goans to the entire world of Goans, because I feel
it in my bones that you do love Goa very much and have a lot of wires
connecting you to Goa and Goans.
And let those who want to shut you up may also have the channel open so
that they may unload their minds of the baggage which has burried deep
'what they know' about why Goa is in deep shit today, and come out singing
the Neil Young's song, not 'Ohio', but 'GOA' with the title "HOW COULD WE
HAVE RUN, WHEN WE KNEW".
And if such a song does not exist, it is high time for Remo Fernandes, to
concentrate his efforts and energy in composing this special Goan Song for
Goa and Goans instead of voicing the futility of dumping Goa's politicians
into the Arabian Sea. For, dear Remo must know that the Arabian Sea is not
big enough to accommodate them all at one shot.

It was great talking to you. I just took a chance and called, and there you
appeared, at the end of the long mystical cyber line between Jersey and Goa.

I will keep in touch. I found your letter, filled with a sad humor of
something precious slipping away.... something that you have tried to hold
onto.
I have touched the raped hills in Maina district, I have seen the lepers
colony on Calungute beach. I could have turned away.Technically I am a
foreigner to India but my soul was ashamed... in my heart, warm Indian blood
still runs wild. And so, maybe that is why I write about Goa.
Hopefully we will meet one day and share a Feni and look for answers to our
unanswered prayers. Ha, Ha!

This is in response to the news brief: Mining companies in Goa to pay
compensation for crop loss.

The month of this writing is May 2010.
What happened to the "Compensation." Does anybody know? Does anybody Care?
Question: When are the mining Companies going to pay compensation for the
blood of Goa which they are filtering out through a two way drip feed. One
bauxite tube is inserted into the pockets of the politicians, the other iron
ore tube is headed for China; and the mining companies are laughing at you
Goans as they make their way to the Bank. What happened to your dignity?
Question: When are the dead Goans going to come back to life and look around
their land and DO SOMETHING ABOUT their Goa? What will it take for this
resurrection to happen?
And another question: Do you Goan imbeciles really think that The Mining
Companies will stick to their end of the bargain?
If you are a Goan, and your answer to the last question is YES, then my
dead Soosaygadh Paowallah Corpse, you ARE better off dead.
I recently wrote an article Titled “Letter to The Bleddy Goans from An East
Indian Bugger” The article was meant to awaken some Goans from their stupor.
The article was not about Goans Vs. East Indians. One hopes, that from all
the reaction the article got, that a few, just a few Goans would get angry
enough and look around Goa and SEE what the mining companies and politicians
have done to Goa.
There is a Song by Singer Songwriter Neil Young titled “Ohio”. The song’s
lyrics are an elegy to The Four students who were shot dead by TheOhio
National Guard at Kent State University in Ohio on Monday, May 4, 1970.
The students were protesting the American invasion of Cambodia.
There is one line that all you spineless Goan losers, who have turned their
backs on Goa should know about.
The Line screams: HOW CAN YOU RUN, WHEN YOU KNOW?
You Goans know what is happening To Goa, In Goa.
How can you run, when you know???
