Talking Photo: New Fast Track Court in the City ? There were 31,042 cases pending in the two district and subordinate courts in Goa as on January 1, 2009. A majority of these were civil cases In order to clear up the backlog, a new City Fast Track Court set up at Panjim. It’s Digambar Govt efforts to expedite hearings particularly in North Goa where there are about 21,000 cases pending. (South Goa being over 10,000 cases).
