Ajit's educational Background: MBA (Gen’l and Fin’l Management) Harvard Business School MSE (Chem Engineering) Princeton University B. Tech (Chem Engineering) IITechnology, Bombay Ajit was born in Benaulim with his ancestral home in Narve, Bardez. His family moved to Mumbai when he was about 5. His father was a teacher. He writes "my parents gave us a great education and grounding in sound family values. All schooling in Bombay Scottish Orphanage Society High School. Got top honours in Indian School Certificate, the successor to Senior Cambridge. Then stood 2nd in IIT Entrance Exam and entered Chemical Eng Dept at IIT Bombay. Graduated second in class, got a scholarship to Princeton". Ajit is married to Asha nee Kudchadker who was born and raised in Assolna. Her father is Dr. Shantadas Kudchadker who practiced in Assolna and has since moved to Curchorem. He has two daughters Shoma and Reena. Shoma is an Emergency Medicine Physician and Associate Professor at Los Angeles County Hospital - USC Medical School. Reena is a Deputy District Attorney in Los Angeles County. Ajit loves to travel and his wife Asha loves gardening. Ajit's career accomplishments are impressive: Mergers & Acquisitions: Acquired four companies worldwide within a 2 year period for MPBio doubling sales. Helped grow WSI from $3mm to $170mm in Sales through 4 acquisitions and organic growth over a five year period. Business Development: Licensed technology and products, Deal making, Strategic Alliances. General Management: Managing for growth, P & L responsibilities, organization skills, people development. Built three organizations from ground up. International: General Manager of Company in UK. Acquired company in France and integrated it with parent organization. Product and Technology marketing in Europe and Asia. Business Development in China, India and Singapore. Industry Experience: 15 years in Medical Industry – Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Devices and Diagnostics, Life Science Reagents. 5 years in Aerospace and Automotive industry.
