Who are responsible for electing these imbecile ? We Goans, aren't we, the people who have facilitated the rise of this enormous aberration ? And I won't be surprised if the very same people are back in power after the next election as well. You, Arwin, Rajan, Florian and others can "vent and pent" as much as you'll can, but we Goans will never change. At the Blueberry how many people from Carmona, Colva, Benaulim, Majorda, Cansaulim, Vasco and North Goa were there ? How many people who are affected by mining were present ? In whole of Goa only a hundred handful are affected by the miners-builders-politicians-police nexus ? This was indeed a crude joke played by Goans on the Activists. Time to ponder isn't it ? Are we all barking and screeching at our own shadows ? Looks like the bogyman in mining and mega-projects was just a fiction of our imagination. If most of Goa is affected by mining, mega-projects or the anomalies in the RP, why were they not present at the Blueberry ? Is it, "Hanv maka, ani Dev somestank" ? If this is our Goan mentality, then there is surely no hope for Goa. With all due respect for your concern for Goa, it is high time we stopped blaming our politicians, and accept that we Goans have failed ourselves and introspect on way and means to correct ourselves. It's a pity, our very own Activists, who all claim to love Goa and are willing to do anything to save Goa, unfortunately cannot even work together to save Goa, they have the same aim, they have the same gusto, they are genuine in their own ways so what the "duck" is the problem to work together ? If whole of Goa is united Digu kaka and his thirty nine foot soldiers can be brought to their knees in no time, but for the moment it looks to be only a pipe dream. Only if we Goans can get our act together and walk in unison and fight as one unit only then will we be able to salvage what's left of Goa, till then our politicians, will make hay while we Goans keep on bickering "combi vo tantem" Freddy Agnelo Fernandes -------------------------------------------------------- The content of this electronic communication is intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom it is addressed and any others who are specifically authorized to receive it.
