A section of the media is comparing the recent violence at the secretariat
complex and the unrest in villages with that of Dantewada and Nandigram.
Rubbish!
Sometime back it was being promoted that anti-mining activists are receiving
guerilla training from the maoists in Jharkhand. So also, the strong
opposition to mega projects witnessed at the Gram Sabhas were being labelled
as anarchy. These comparisons and allegations are not a matter for Goans to
be proud about. They must be condemned. Some media agents are only building
a case for their God fathers.
