The House of Pai Tiatrist – Joao Agustin Fernandes About two years ago, the house was in the news as a section of the house was collapsed due to heavy rains Some tall promises or assurances from politicians including CM Digu , MP Shantaram Naik etc were also seen poured in (News papers etc). Yesterday, I once again visited the house and shocked to see nothing has been done about it at all. Now, that we have our own Tiatr Academy, I wanted to know what help given or steps taken to renovate or rebuild or save or to protect this about 150 years old house of Pai Tiatrist?
I am also copying to Tiatr Academy and it’s president Tomazin Cardoz for any update on this matter. I may have missed some info or updates and hence I request TAG to enlighten us on this matter. Hoping to receive a reply from TAG, at least for this time (I never got one ). I would also like to request others including the members of Pai Tiatrist Family, Margao based activist Godfrey who is a pioneer particularly in this matter (saving Pai Tiatrist House) to pass on any information or update that they may have and which we may not aware of.
