taught about nuances of Ratol by women activists Panaji, June 2 : Women activists on Wednesday gave chief minister Digambar Kamat a hands-on lesson on how to use Ratol, a popular commercially available rat poison. Activists from Savera a women’s organization also handed over a memorandum to Kamat, seeking a thorough investigation into the mysterious death of twenty-eight year old alleged paramour of Mickky Pacheco, Nadia Torrado, who died after consumption of Ratol. “We had taken a tube of Ratol along with us. We also told him that it was simply not possible to mistake Ratol, which comes packaged in a tube as a poisonous paste, from ordinary toothpaste,” Kerkar further stated, after meeting Kamat at his residence. “Ratol does not taste like toothpaste. Do you swallow toothpaste? Nadia swallowed toothpaste. Why is the mother trying to cover this up? Is she trying to save the politician involved?” Kerkar questioned. “The chief minister seemed convinced by our argument about Ratol. He has said that the investigators will leave no stone unturned,” she said. http://www.digitalgoa.com/ca_disp.php?id=1205
