Dear Tony, While I accept your wishes, I do not believe that I have done anything exceptional. I am just your 'average Joe' who lives a very simple life. Those who know me personally will attest to that fact.
You may wish to know that the actions of some Goa-based lawyers was my primary incentive to study law. During my years of slog in a field which is basically quite alien to the study of Medicine, I was most fascinated by the stuff I read for my Contract Law Land Law exams. Oh How these lawyers deal with land and contracts! It is also appalling to note how some unscrupulous lawyers use their knowledge of Law to threaten the simple and naive; not to mention how long it takes to get a matter properly heard (let alone settled) in Goa courts. I wish the unscrupulous lawyers well.....very well indeed. Thanks again and good wishes jc ps: I am pleased to note that a number of GoaNetters are well on their way to completing the LLB within the next 2 years.
