Oh Floriano, It is personal is it?...you should have stated this in the beginning.
FYI ref your comment below, pls remove "we" and keep "I" as the "we" includes people in Goa that I am already working with!! " I/we in Goa could do with a little support or even queries on its long term effects on the people of Goa" Arwin Dear Arwin, Since you have picked up my comment as sarcasm, so be it. But take is as skepticism more than sarcasm. Like you and others, I too have been writing for years together since the 80's and at the same time when on leave used to do my bit of action. But for the past 12 years I have been trying to break my head in getting people to come together in action and not just in writing. Both are very much required. Why I have said what I have said is because even after having directly asked you for your opinion or comments on PPS I am yet to hear a word on it from you. I/we in Goa could do with a little support or even queries on its long term effects on the people of Goa. If you want to hoard a bagful of fire-crackers and go about bursting them every time some one writes a brilliant letter or an article, I have no problem. But when people who are known to be working actively and with a ready solution for a change in Goa's administration want some action or support, you (all) seem to be lackadaisical about it but go on blowing your own trumpets all the more louder. This is all the more perplexing. We, in Goa also need a good support of blasting trumpets in addition to some actions. Like A Veronica says, Tiatrists like Alexinho de Candolim used to blow their trumpets to sensitize the people of Goa much before perhaps we were born even. But the destruction of Goa went on unabated and Goa still survives. You must remember one thing very clearly. Goa will certainly survive. But not we or the Goa we have known, if the trumpets and action do not go hand in hand. In other words: Goa does not need SAVING. It will survive on its own. But not as Goa that we knew or know of. Cheers floriano goasuraj 9890470896 www.goasu-raj.org PS: More phylosophies are welcome at their own risks. PS2: I have said " if trumpets and action" more particularly 'action' in the singular. The reason is that actions (in plural) will certainly help in the long run but will dilute the tempo of the 'action' ( in the singular) which is to neutralize the rabid DELHI/NAGPUR/MAHARASHTRA HIGH COMMANDS operating in Goa and continues looting it, which must take shape before 2012. --
