Ratol – Suicides on the rise? After the Nadia’s incident May 15, there were at atleast 3 more Ratol-suicide cases reported. Latest one being a newly married woman at her mother house Quelossim. The deceased, Minguelina Lucas was married a Margao resident last year. She consumed Ratol on the 11th June and died on 17th at Hospicio. She was staying with her mother for last 2 months 3-4 Ratol cases in less than a month, sounds alarming. There are other reported cases of suicide too e.g. by hanging etc during the same period
