In response to John Gomes's "Pray, where is Salvador do Mundo ?"

The village of Salvador do Mundo, situated in Bardez, Goa,  extends from Hway
17 and the
well known O'Coqueiro Restaurant (the area commonly referred to as Alto
Porvorim), all the way to the interior, comprising the villages of Paitona,
Torda, Donvaddo, Badem, Quitla, Saloi etc.  Although the location of the Sao
Joao festival was not clearly stated, I would guess that it would be in the
vicinity of the Salvador do Mundo Church, as the main organizer
Mario Fernandes, lives nearby.

One can get to the Salvador do Mundo church either from the circle near
O-Coqueiro
restaurant, taking the opposite direction from Chogm Rd (which leads to
Calangute etc.)
OR  one can take the road below the Mandovi bridges that leads to Penha da
France/Britona
and continues to Salvado do Mundo.

When Mario organizes an event, it is bound to be a great success.  I plan to be
there.
As for this being an "Eco" event, it is the thought that counts.  I am sure the
organizers dont expect everyone to go home and start eating in coconut shells
and from banana leafs. We can each use our common sense in our day to day lives
to avoid disposable plastics.
