Dear Matanhy,

Amazing! 187,759 petitions` were delivered to the Parliamentary Standing Committee looking at the nuclear liability bill and they have now called for a public consultation[1]. This is just the beginning.

Now that they are listening to us, we need to tell them exactly what we think about this bill. The nuclear bill can be changed in less than two weeks.

We are sending an open letter to the standing committee suggesting all the changes the bill needs.

Can you add your name to this letter?

A large number of signatures will make the committee consider our demands. Exactly the way they were convinced to hold a public consultation.

The bill in its current form lets US corporations get away by paying a small compensation in case of a nuclear accident in the country. We will have to pay to clear up the mess created by them

The changes suggested in the letter will strengthen the liability bill and prevent another Bhopal-like judgment.

Sign the open letter now to change the nuclear liability bill

Thanks a billion!
