Raining quite heavily in Goa today (Friday, July 2, 2010). The earlier wet spell came last Friday-Saturday, coinciding with the full-moon days of the past fortnight.
Question: do any of you believe in weather disturbances caused by/linked to phases of the moon? The traditional Goan agricultural science here believes that it makes more sense to conduct agricultural operations during the 'omas' and 'punov' periods (full and new moon, or vice versa).
