To All, Seek them on Goanet among other places. There are many on Goanet, who have done a lot but are consider themselves ordinary. There are others who just live their lives, do not say much, except on ocassion. Needless to say ordinary also does not mean staying mum, or not interacting, or not putting out some interesting material, and so forth.
It is hard to tell much about each other--if its is at all necessary by what we say on Goanet. I occasionally meet Goans and thety are beyond surprised at my concerns and interests. But they cannot miss the fact that I am of Goan origin, and I tell them to keep that snapshoot in their minds. They children could become the most genuine (beyond what their parents pass off as being "niz" anything), and the most interesting beings (beyond what is considered in that family as being genuine, Goan, sucessful, self-effacing, etc). Getting beyond, toungue and cheek--one only knows "genuine ordinariness" upon interacting with others (email, letters, exchanges, etc.); and also ones motivations, to search those living in genuine simplicity, as well as the reshaping of ones being that tends to follow the search. venantius j pinto Message: 5 > Date: Fri, 2 Jul 2010 19:30:22 +0900 > From: Joao Barros-Pereira <[email protected]> > To: goanet <[email protected]> > Subject: [Goanet] I am ... > > (Del) Obviously, being special is too commonplace!
