I do not support neither Monohar Parrikar's rule, nor the rule of the MGP, the Congress, under Pratapsing Rane and of course of Digu. Digu's rule being the worst, i.e. corrupt as well as communal. aka CONGRESS and the RSS BJP combined a veritable hybrid. But what we saw with Manohar Parrikar, it was a despotic and tyrannical rule when he had the audacity to undermine the very well being of Goa and Goan, even after having come in through the back door with no clear mandate. He was not a democratic ruler. He was SALAZAR reincarnate, clad, immersed and reeking of SAFFRON. A lot of these guy, like the below 'yours faithfully' were peeing in their pants at the very thought of Manohar-bab. They even regularly called me from London to convince me that Goasuraj and BJP (with Manohar-bab) is the ultimate solution for Goa (since their ladla had the acumen of being the best CEO in the entire world). But when I differed to the point of ridiculing them that they were trying to put up the HUMPTY DUMPTY back on the wall, the very Humpty Dumpty who had the penchant to fall again and again, they were driven mad with fury to the point of calling me names. When I told them that they will have to accumulate a ware-house full of fevicol to patch-up the Humpty Dumpty over and over again they went berserk. I have also told them that Manohar-bab's IIT in Metallurgy is the lowest in the stream in the IIT. Any one who cannot get into any other stream, opts for Metallurgy. How IIT made Manohar-bab an able administrator is anyone's guess. Sitting upto 3 to 4 a.m. with the load of files is administration? Walking along the Campal streets (during IFFI 2004), supervising the work at 3 a.m. is administration?? Destroying the marvel of underground storm-water-drains of the Panjim city to put up stupid superficial make up is development for the IFFI is able administration? Spending 24 crores on the renovation of Kala Academy which couldn't cost more than 2 crores is able administration? Getting Gujarat's Modi's ladla to set up INOX at the cost of 26 crores when the best of INOXs are existing elsewhere for as little as 8 crores is able administration?? Putting up Khorjuem bridge in order to give a party to the Bollywood stars and starlets at the cost of 24 crores, the same which could be built is 5 to 6 crores is able administration?? Getting the Goa's police force packed with RSS Cadres is able administration? Letting Mapusa Market, the Mapusa Bus Stand, the Mapusa River rot ( his home town) is able administration??? Manufacturing a vile and communal VCD in the name of Freedom Fight of Goa by getting some chamchas freedom fighters to certify it as authentic and forcing it on every school being the State's Education Minister is able administration?? Getting in Babush Monserrate, a third rate punk into the Ministerial stream, sacking him ultimately and then going berserk to get at the chair again is able administration??? I could go on an on for hours together. I have nothing against Manohar-bab personally. But I do not at all agree that a person who is obsessed with POWER and who has not even an IOTA of public relations in his blood-stream should be forced on GOA, a forward looking state, as its CEO. When I told these jokers in London and in America that the best they could do in to send their breakable idol to a crash course in PUBLIC RELATIONS in any of the better Universities of London or America, and then seek to put him up as the CEO of Goa, they had nothing to say. Do they have any thing to say to this still?? If they do, let them come out in the open and I will deal with them. My advice to them is not to make admin Frederick Noronha your pot of bile to accumulate your maha frustrations. I, Floriano Lobo will vouch for him any time and all the way. My good advice to these jokers is to shut up so that they are not laughed at more and more when they open their gobs. I think it was Miguel who informed us that the last time Floriano Lobo contested assembly elections, he got around 217 votes. It is therefore not surprising, is it, that BJP will approach this megalomaniac to get back to power. Now let me inform Goanetters about a few facts. I , Anil Desai, am an admirer of Manohar Parrikar and wish to see him back as the chief minister of Goa. I have openly supported him in the past and will do so again in future. He is by no means a perfect man but I believe he is still the best all round politician that goa has to offer. I met Floriano Lobo over a cup of tea during December 2007 at the suggestion of a catholic friend of mine from Salcette. This friend has been with me since we first met and studied together in 1973 in goa. Even after this meeting, I did not know that Floriano Lobo headed a political party. Subsequently, we had two very useful meetings at a catholic priest's residence/ workplace in Margao. The meetings were attended by two fine young catholic men with political aspirations, the catholic priest who was a proper God's man on earth, a BJP funtionary who was an observer, another BJP supporter, my friend and Floriano Lobo and me. At both the meetings Mr Lobo was quite complimentary about Manoharbab and was quite willing to work with the BJP. He did raise the issue of VCD but when I asked him directly whether during Parrikar regime, there were any attacks on catholic religious places, all he could say was that the door of a church in Curchorem was probably vandalised. After the second meeting came a gentle request through my friend. There was going to be a rally in Panjim under the auspices of the Mathany Saldanha and the same Manohar Parrikar that Florian finds so detestable. Our Mr Lobo was one of the main speakers there and you might have guessed it - he wanted money to take his supporters to this meeting. I was not as lucky as Rajan Parrikar. I parted with Ten thousand rupees. Obviously you would expect a gentleman of Floriano's stature who, given half a chance put both Advani and Manmohan Singh in jail, would give me a proper receipt on behalf of Goa Sewer-raj as his is the only decent, honest political outfit that exists in Goa. I was lucky though. The day after this meeting, Mr Lobo actually called me from Mumbai promising to work with us. So, Mr Floriano Lobo, do one thing. Publish the accounts of your party for that year. Let Goanetters know how much money went into your begging bowl during that year and how much tax your party paid on these donations. Once you have done that, report Parrikar to Goa police or CBI with all the data you have gathered. Let him face the music.
