To Goanet - Another compelling setting is about to be ruined. The visual of the Candolim church (Our Lady of Good Hope) from the bridge across the Nerul river has been among the most luscious, especially in the monsoons when the hill in the background is carpeted in lush green. But now we see concrete jutting out of the foliage to the right of the church (or to the left from the vantage point of the bridge), part of a new construction project. Surely it won't be long before Mr Raheja sets up shop on the hill.
