.....Congratulations on a successful Festa de Goa, Swindon. My sources tell me there were in the region of 4/5 K and the lingua franca was Konkani - This should gladen the hearts of die hard Konkani advocacies. Although to move on in this Country one has to quickly learn English and speak it reasonably well. The Goans in Swindon would hardly recognise the East African Goans and vice versa.
