Timidity is faint-heartedness. This is a form of fear. A timid man is unfit for public activities and any kind of adventurous work. He cannot turnout to be a successful man in life. He cannot talk boldly to his superiors. He cannot deal boldly with his customers. How then can he expect prosperity? He is afraid of public opinion. It checks his growth and hinders his success.
