With all due respect most of my posts are not directly related to Goa, but may be applied to Goa by extension.
After having to deal with/address needless fall out, as well as complaints on posting news analysis often left-leaning on American politics--I decided against posting such pieces. My material will tend to appear esoteric, only until others may begin to post the same and/or better stuff. I believe in posting things that I feel will benefit people, including parents. I sure did not have anyone telling me about things that interest me. Now I know where to find them and put some of it out. Remember: its always on consciousness, religion and sexuality. But it all takes engagement, and deepens when that happens. Often people want one-on-one interaction which is much harder and often uncalled for. Just because email exists does not mean one must expect or even contemplate interaction. But I am sure enough of you have learnt about insanity from my posts, and I am happy to provide that aspect into your lives. Goanet has tremendous potential, and people benefit in many ways--but they do not say that out loud. (More on this some other time but through an angle coming from Shodo (The way of Calligraphy-Japanese). But there is only so much one can do to help people align their noses with their navels, and consolidate themselves. One can suggest things, and that certainly happens. I know this, since I know what I do, as would others. Often it is not money, but books, buying something in Goa, writing involved emails, pointing out things, etc. Often the respected ones keep operating in the same worn-out grooves, but cannot get themselves to learn. They prefer to be ensconced in their ways. I presume the see it as fortitude. Thankfully, no one wants to own a piece of me, or, as yet chop off my fingers. But one never knows, and that too is fine. venantius j pinto
