Kudos to Rajendra Kakodkar who as a concerend member of Mangrove Society of
India went personally to Panchwadi where mangroves were being cut. Goa today
needs people like him in responsible positions unlike what others are doing.
Most persons holding responsible positions and who are responsible for saving
Goa from destruction are only interested in amassing wealth by all means and
are instrumental in raping and destroying Goa. They are supposed to be
guardians but in reality do just the opposite.

We should also appreciate the efforts of Panchwadi villagers who collectively
went to prevent the cutting. Can only wish that they succeed in their efforts.
They are the true Goan patriots unlike the MLAs who represent them and others
in responsible positions who encourage and turn a blind eye to these acts, and
are Goan traitors.

Best wishes,

Camilo Fernandes
