Hell no. Why? They are Goans! Thats asking too much. It takes a little sense of community and 'big picture' thinking to get organized that way, or even to get started. To our good fortune, we ain't got what it takes and its for the better!
The sausage-pao (chooris-pau) business is competitive you know and we can't let others get anyone get onto our game plan. A small example. Many years ago I approached one of those drink-dance-and-all-fall-down Goan overseas associations if they had some videos of Goa to show my university class. They did. But, being Goan, they did not trust me and asked me for a deposit, wanted to see my passport to check I was legal. Curious eh? I was not surprised. Nice thought though, but don't suggest too much to the Goichis. Well, when you aren't the sharpest pencils in the box, you ain't got such noble thoughts and a broad mind!!! <[email protected]> wrote: > I've just been to Phillipino Fair in Hounslow Lampton Park, london. > It is a two day event (17th &18th July) > Park is full > Standing room only > Stalls all round the park > Big entertainment stage with 2 big TV screens one Camers zooming on people > They say it will be broadcast all over Europe > ENTRANCE was FREE > http://www.philippinecentre.com/ >
