Hispanics relish the 'pearl' grains when cooked with beans.   They call it
'grano mediano', or medium grain, and it resembles Goa rice. Sweet and spongy

the bite, it can be enjoyed without a sauce or curry, with a side of commercial
pickle and fried fish. North Americans can rely on the Goya brand for quality.
It also rejuvenates:  Jim Fernandes had a serving yesterday, with predictable
results !     eric.
