So then ...it's back to Mickey. We, the general public, do not know all the facts.
But, we have been told the following by different folks who appear in the Goa press: (a) Micky was once a tailor (b) He was (until recently) driving a big car (c) He was a playboy (d) He has a wife with whom he is not really together (e) He has a common-law alliance with a woman which has resulted in a number of children (f) He was having an affair with Nadia (g) Nadia is dead (h) She is said to have consumed Ratol (i) She was treated in various hospitals before her death (j)Some marks have been noted on Nadia's body (k)Micky has been arrested (l) Nadia's mother is also in custody. What we do not know yet wrt Nadia are the following: 1: Cause of death 2: If there are bruises, when they were noted first 3: If they were noted ante-mortem, if they have been recorded ante-mortem 4: If the police were informed by the hospital treating Nadia 5: When the hospital informed the police 6: If the injuries photographed ante-mortem by a police photographer 6: What investigation the police conducted and when they commenced that investigation 7: If there was any obstruction to the investigation. Additional questions for now are the following: * Why is Micky still in custody? * Has he been formally charged? *Are the police waiting for the canary (as Gabe puts it) to sing? * What is the plan for the eventuality that the canary sings or does not sing? * What if no one sings? and finally, once again: What is the cause of death in this case? I suppose ....time will tell ....or perhaps not. jc
