There are two issue here, as I see it -- (i) replying to some point made online by someone (ii) reposting *their* post somewhere else. Mailing lists like Goanet are public forums, and the mailing list archives are public. But obviously the author of a particular post still owns the copyright to the content posted by him/her. FN
