Santu and his wife (Antu) were crossing the Mandovi River by Panjim-Betim
ferryboat. As soon as the ferryboat touched to the Betim dock, suddenly it
started raining heavily, so there was a rush, passengers were disembarking and
embarking, suddenly from no where a beautiful Young Lady appears:
Young Lady: Hallo Santu ….
Santu: Oh……h (with hesitation) Hi…….
Young Lady shook Santu's hand, hugged him and rushed to the ferryboat to
proceed from Betim to Panjim:
Antu: Who is that lady?
Santu: (calmly) Forget it…… Antu!
Antu: Forget it? No way…… I want to know…
Santu: Please for God sake…. Change the topic?
Antu: Today….. It's not your birthday, it's not Christmas…., it's not New
Year……, it's not Easter…. So, why the hell she hugged you?
Santu started loosing his patience:
Santu: Antu..??? (Shouting with top of his voice) Shut-up…..shut up! Don’t you
eat-up my brain……. damn it? I am already tensed up with much worries, and don’t
know what to answer her, when she ask me the same question which you are asking
now!!!.
