Dear John Gomes, Re: "Who deleted most of my submission?Re submitting" John Gomes
Your post appeared as it on Goanet. It appeared in full. NO QUESTION ABOUT THAT. It was I--Venantius who in my response deleted what was not essential to what I wanted to say. did. Basically I was looking at a particular strand in your statement to make a point--I believe would be of interest, ie., regarding tactics and their apparent origination, as well as the felicity of an/any/those actions. So again, rest assured that your post appeared in full on Goanet! In a response, many of us do not deal with the entire text. I in particular, only see certain areas and make associations that the existing text may not allow one to do so. I also did not need to have the Shiv Sena in what I wanted to say. The last part--"forcibly emptying milk tankers on the road as protest with impunity!??: allowed me that tangent to make a specific extrapolated analogy of relevance with Bove and onwards, as you will see below. This furthermore does not mean what you said is of no consequence. Others may deal with it in its totality. I hope someone does. Here below to reiterate what I said earlier vis-a-vis the part of your text: "forcibly emptying milk tankers on the road as protest with impunity!?? Perhaps various political party strategy planners, are more than aware of the splendid protest tactics of Jose Bove's, and others. But those tactics have deeper reverberations 'neath them. Not sure, as in in the European cases, whether in India it was the farmers themselves dumping their milk, thereby making a choice to be affected directly in the process of doing so(making a political statement), instead of the milk of many small dairy farmers (or some big ones) being spilled against their will (basically no choice) for someone else' strategy/agenda. ++++++++++++ venantius j pinto ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ > Message: 2 > Date: Fri, 30 Jul 2010 23:20:45 -0700 (PDT) > From: John Gomes <johnericgo...@yahoo.com> > To: Goanet Org <goa...@goanet.org> > Subject: [Goanet] Fw: Re: Goanet Digest, Vol 5, Issue 795 (Nudism..Dr > Kamat) > > Who deleted most of my submission?Re submitting > > --- On Fri, 30/7/10, John Gomes <johnericgo...@yahoo.com> wrote: > > > From: John Gomes <johnericgo...@yahoo.com> > Subject: Re: Goanet Digest, Vol 5, Issue 795 (Nudism..Dr Kamat) > To: goanet@lists.goanet.org > Date: Friday, 30 July, 2010, 1:30 PM > > Reference XCHR incidence? > > --- On Thu, 29/7/10, goanet-requ...@lists.goanet.org > goanet-requ...@lists.goanet.org > ? > Dangerous trends with most minority community people?keeping quiet, being > scared?with goonda tactics of self proclaimed religious groups enforcing > their writ.
