August 2010, 5:30 pm as part of Temenos : The Film Study Circle.
Temenos is a Film Study group that will meet regularly to view diverse
set of films: foreign, classic, experimental and independent works
presented in thematic series and special retrospectives in order to
study and appreciate the moving image.

Winner 5 international awards including 'Golden Camera' at Cannes.
Razieh wants a fat goldfish for the Iranian New Years celebration
instead of the skinny ones in her family's pond at home, because the fat
fish looks like it's dancing when it swims. After many attempts she and
her brother convince their mother to give them her last bit of money.
Between their home and the fish store, Razieh loses the money.. She
finds it, but it is temptingly just out of her reach.

present Temenos : The Film Study Circle
Temenos is a Film Study group that will meet regularly to view diverse
set of films: foreign, classic, experimental and independent works
presented in thematic series and special retrospectives in order to
study and appreciate the moving image.
The participants will come together in an informal space to discuss and
explore in depth anything to do with film: it could be the role of light
in Guru Dutt’s films, the symbolism in Ingmar Bergman’s films, the
hero’s journey undertaken by protagonists in mainstream Indian cinema or
perhaps archetypal and Jungian analyses.
To launch Temenos, we will be screening and studying 10 acclaimed films
(one film each week).
