[Goanet] Cansaulim GBA meet – Report Cansaulim GBA meeting But where are the Cansaulekar? I am sure, the population of Cansaulim (Panchayat) is at least 10,000 but where are they all? If one closely look at this pic, one can easily count up to 60 people occupying all the chairs. Where are rest of the Cansalkars? If people can come from as far as Quepem or Panjim (Agxi) etc, what stopped Cansalcars to attend the meeting which was taking place right at their doorsteps? Are they pro-destruction of Cansaulim or Goa? Are they pro – Mauvin or Aggie or Babloo? Didn’t they get the message on the meeting where GBA was also to attend? (All newspapers carried the news item on the meeting though ) What about the local Church? Didn’t it make announcement? We saw no priests (except young Fr. Randall? who was doing the filming with stand, I was told). Not even CSJP Fr. Marverick What about Fr. Eremito Rebello from Sancoale, he normally attends such meetings. About Matanhy Saldanha, through a report here, we know that he had other important meeting to attend to elsewhere. What about the ex-sarpanchas of Cansaulim? Or is there something else that we don’t know of?
