.....stands for ''Standing Conference Of Goan Organisations'' This was a grouping of the G.O.A. (U.K.) together with the Vullage Associations in the U.K.
It was disbanded at an A.G.M. without having been put on the Agenda. I was present at that meeing when it was decided that the G.O.A. would take on the Annual Festival as its own baby, the Village Associations had no input and were not consulted. This was wrongly done and needs to be corrected. The various Village Associations need to be invited along with the broader umbrella of people concerned, to determine whether they wish to disband S.C.O.G.O. Former S.C.O.G.O. Presidents need to call a meeting to redress this injustice perpetrated upon the Members of S.C.O.G.O.; should the Village Associations take it lying down? "Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?" Gal. 4:16 -- DEV BOREM KORUM Gabe Menezes. * * * Was life in the *kudds* glamourised?
