Author Isidore Dantas's much anticipated Konkani filmbook "KONKNNI CHOLCHITRAM"
released in honour of GOA SUDHAROP's 10 year anniversary will have its Goa
launch at Hotel Mandovi, Panjim, on Tuesday, Sept 21. Exact time and other
details to follow.
The book is in Konkani in Roman script. It contains the history of all the
Konkani celluloid films produced so far which are 31 in number.
It comprises of technical matter, story, photographs, songs and music notes of
the Konkani films.
A separate chapter on the Konkani community’s contribution to Bollywood is also
included in the Book.
The book contains:
* 267 photos
* 109 songs
* 85 music notes
* 282 pages, in colour.
The book is in Roman script as the software for music notes is compatible with
this script and most of the musicians are familiar with this script making it
easy for them to use.
