An appointment with Jesus? Did all the sick, blind, invalids etc who were cured, took a prior appointment with Jesus? No, infact, many of them even got cured in the streets or out in the open. Their faith in Jesus cured them from their sicknesses and sins
But this high profile priest is different.. (He is different in many other ways too e.g. Acting as official Congress priest, numerous foreign trips etc) Seeing the well-known and popular priest saying a prayer over a sick (Patient) at GMC, a mother of a young sick son went running up to the priest and said ‘ Father, matxe mhojea putaxim yo ani tekai magnnem kor..’ (Fr. Please also come and say a prayer over my sick son (who was lying in the same hospital ward/bed) And the high profile priest replied ‘Did you take an appointment with me first?’ The mother was speechless and quietly retuned to her son’s bed. JoeGoaUk Comments: I did hear about this incidence some weeks ago but found very hard to digest it until I met another person recently who told me the same I asked him ‘Do you believe it or do you really think this is true’ And this guy (very religious, attending retreats etc) replied - ‘yes, it’s true’ What makes you say that? - I was there at the time (with the mother) (which made me speechless) Saiba Jezu, jedna tuvem Sam Pedruchea sasumaink, ji zoran bhaztali, Tuzo hat laun tika bori keli, tinnei Tuje lagin poilo appointment ghetolo ghai? I know the modern priests are very busy despite owning cars, bikes, mobile phones etc No, I am not saying the priest should go to each and every patients/beds to say prayers. At the most one could say ‘sorry, I have to go somewhere but will remember your son in my prayers or in mass’ It's a common practice amongst us, when we are desperate for something we often turn to God or Godmen (Priests in this case). When they fail who they now suppose to turn to? Other gods? such as Blind Gods (Kudde Dev), Balla, Gaddi, Mhar-deuchar?
